Key Responsibilities

As a UI Developer, you’ll be responsible for building new and intuitive user interfaces, while also developing middleware development that powers our data flows, APIs, and application logic. You’ll collaborate closely with our NLP, Infrastructure, and Customer Solution teams to bring concepts to life and ensure seamless performance across the stack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front-End Development
    • Core expectations include design and requirements review, software bug clean up and issue resolution, supporting a self-service portal, and other UI projects.
    • Build and maintain responsive, performant web interfaces using modern frameworks (Angular, React).
    • User-centered design: Ability to take a UCD approach, focusing on user feedback and iterative testing to create intuitive and engaging experiences.
    • Implement reusable UI components and design systems that support rapid iteration.
    • Optimize applications for speed, accessibility, and scalability.
  • Middleware Development
    • Design and develop middleware services that handle data transformations, business logic, and API orchestration.
    • Integrate with backend services, databases, and third-party APIs.
    • Ensure security, reliability, and scalability in middleware layers.
  • Collaboration & Ownership
    • Work closely with product managers and designers to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
    • Partner with backend engineers to define clear API contracts and efficient data exchange.
    • Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Front-End Developer, UI Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS/LESS).
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of application state management, authentication, authorization, and secure data handling best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a startup environment and building SaaS products.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Passion for great UI/UX and a strong eye for detail.
